sā sarasvatī tu prāñjaliḥ pārśvasthā vākyam prāha: "deva,
iyam asmi āgatā,
aham kim kāryam karavāṇi?"

And she, Sarasvatī, standing by his side with folded hands, spoke these words: 'O god, I have come; what task shall I perform?'
