बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-27, verse-17

तथाऽरार्केज्यशुक्राणां व्यस्तं ज्ञस्य सदा धनम् ।
तद्भागाश्च त्रिभिर्भक्ता ज्ञेयमायनजं बलम् ॥१७॥
17. tathā'rārkejyaśukrāṇāṃ vyastaṃ jñasya sadā dhanam .
tadbhāgāśca tribhirbhaktā jñeyamāyanajaṃ balam.
17. tathā ara-arka-ijya-śukrāṇām vyastam jñasya sadā dhanam
tat-bhāgāḥ ca tribhiḥ bhaktāḥ jñeyam āyanajam balam
17. Similarly, for Mars, the Sun, Jupiter, and Venus, the result (from the previous calculation) is reversed, while for Mercury, it is always considered positive. Those derived degrees (bhāgāḥ), divided by three, should be understood as the strength (bala) arising from declination (ayana).
