भागादिकहतादेष्यात् त्रिंशल्लब्धयुता लवाः ।
स्वमृणं तुलमेषादौ शनीन्द्वोश्च त्रिराशिषु ॥१६॥

16. bhāgādikahatādeṣyāt triṃśallabdhayutā lavāḥ .
svamṛṇaṃ tulameṣādau śanīndvośca trirāśiṣu.

16. bhāgādika-hatāt eṣyāt triṃśat-labdha-yutā lavāḥ
svam ṛṇam tulā-meṣa-ādau śani-indvoḥ ca tri-rāśiṣu

16. The degrees (lavāḥ), which are adjusted by adding the quotient derived from thirty, and are considered either positive (sva) or negative (ṛṇa), are calculated from the product of degrees (bhāgādika) and other factors, and from the remaining portion (eṣyāt). This applies to Saturn and the Moon when they are located in Libra, Aries, and three other specific zodiac signs.
