मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-94, verse-5

मन्वादीनां मुनीन्द्राणां सूर्याचन्द्रमसोस्तथा ।
तान्नमस्याम्यहं सर्वान्पितरश्चार्णवेषु ये ॥५॥
5. manvādīnāṃ munīndrāṇāṃ sūryācandramasostathā .
tānnamasyāmyahaṃ sarvānpitaraścārṇaveṣu ye.
5. manvādīnām munīndrāṇām sūryācandramasoḥ tathā
tān namasyāmi aham sarvān pitaraḥ ca arṇaveṣu ye
5. I bow to the chief sages (munīndrāṇām) headed by Manu, and similarly to the sun and the moon. I also bow to all those Pitṛs (pitaraḥ) who reside in the oceans.
