साम्प्रतं सर्गकर्तृत्वमादिष्टं ब्रह्मणा मम ।
सोऽहं पुत्रीमभीप्सामि धन्यां दिव्यां प्रजावतीम् ॥१८॥

sāmprataṃ sargakartṛtvamādiṣṭaṃ brahmaṇā mama .
so'haṃ putrīmabhīpsāmi dhanyāṃ divyāṃ prajāvatīm.

Ruchi said: "Now, the power to create has been assigned to me by Brahmā. Therefore, I desire a blessed, divine, and fertile daughter."
