ततः प्रसन्नाः पितरस्तमूचुर्मुनिसत्तमम् ।
वरं वृणीष्वेति स तानुवाचानतकन्धरः ॥१७॥

Then the pleased ancestors (pitaraḥ) said to him, "O best of sages, choose a boon!" With bowed neck, he then spoke to them.
