तद्दृष्ट्वा सुमहत्तेजः समासाद्य स्थितं जगत् ।
जानुभ्यामवनिं गत्वा रुचिः स्तोत्रमिदं जगौ ॥२॥

Having seen that immensely great splendor, and the world sustained by its attainment, Ruci, kneeling on the ground, sang this hymn.
