मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-94, verse-1

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
एवं तु स्तुवतस्तस्य तेजसो राशिरुच्छ्रितः ।
प्रादुर्बभूव सहसा गगनव्याप्तिकारकः ॥१॥
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
evaṃ tu stuvatastasya tejaso rāśirucchritaḥ .
prādurbabhūva sahasā gaganavyāptikārakaḥ.
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca evam tu stuvataḥ tasya tejasaḥ rāśiḥ
ucchritaḥ prādurbabhūva sahasā gaganavyāptikārakaḥ
1. Markandeya said: As he was praising in this manner, a mass of light (tejas) arose. It suddenly manifested, pervading the sky.
