मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-70, verse-7

अस्मिन् वनेऽतिगहने तेनानीयाहमुज्झिता ।
न वेद्मि कारणं कि तन्नोपभुङ्क्ते न खादति ॥७॥
7. asmin vane'tigahane tenānīyāhamujjhitā .
na vedmi kāraṇaṃ ki tannopabhuṅkte na khādati.
7. asmin vane atigahane tena ānīya aham ujjhitā na
vedmi kāraṇam kim tat na upabhuṅkte na khādati
7. In this very dense forest, I was brought here by him and abandoned. I do not know what the reason is for that; he neither enjoys me nor eats me.
