मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-70, verse-27

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
एवं चिन्तयतस्तस्य पुनरप्याह राक्षसः ।
प्रणामनम्रो राजानं बद्धाञ्जलिपुटो मुने ॥२७॥
27. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
evaṃ cintayatastasya punarapyāha rākṣasaḥ .
praṇāmanamro rājānaṃ baddhāñjalipuṭo mune.
27. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca evam cintayataḥ tasya punaḥ api āha
rākṣasaḥ praṇāmanamraḥ rājānam baddhāñjalipuṭaḥ mune
27. Mārkaṇḍeya said: While he (the king) was thus thinking, the demon, bowed in reverence and with folded hands, again spoke to the king, O sage.
