मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-70, verse-15

नेयं सुरूपा सन्त्यन्या भार्यार्थञ्चेद् हृता त्वया ।
भक्ष्यार्थं चेत्कथं नात्ता त्वयैतत्कथ्यतां मम ॥१५॥
15. neyaṃ surūpā santyanyā bhāryārthañced hṛtā tvayā .
bhakṣyārthaṃ cetkathaṃ nāttā tvayaitatkathyatāṃ mama.
15. na iyam surūpā santi anyāḥ bhāryārtham ca it hṛtā tvayā
bhakṣyārtham ca it katham na attā tvayā etat kathyatām mama
15. "She is not beautiful; there are other women. If she was abducted by you for a wife, then if it was for food, why has she not been eaten? Let this be told to me by you."
