सोऽयं ममाप्युपगतः को दोषोऽस्य महात्मनः ॥३६॥

In a previous birth, I must have caused separation for someone. Now, that very same separation has come upon me. What fault can there be in this great soul (mahātman) (who is merely an instrument)?
