मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-70, verse-1

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
अथारुरोह स्वरथं प्रणिपत्य महामुनिम् ।
तेनाख्यातं वनन्तच्च प्रययावुत्पलावतम् ॥१॥
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
athāruroha svarathaṃ praṇipatya mahāmunim .
tenākhyātaṃ vanantacca prayayāvutpalāvatam.
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca atha ārūroha svaratham praṇipatya
mahāmunim tena ākhyātam vanam tat ca prayayau utpalāvatam
1. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then, having prostrated before the great sage, he mounted his own chariot and proceeded to that forest named Utpalāvata, which had been described by the sage.
