मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-70, verse-14

राजोवाच ।
कृतमेव त्वया सर्वं सर्वामेवातिथिक्रियाम् ।
किमर्थं ब्राह्मणवधूस्त्वयानीता निशाचर ॥१४॥
14. rājovāca .
kṛtameva tvayā sarvaṃ sarvāmevātithikriyām .
kimarthaṃ brāhmaṇavadhūstvayānītā niśācara.
14. rājan uvāca kṛtam eva tvayā sarvam sarvām eva ātithikriyām
kimartham brāhmaṇavadhūḥ tvayā ānītā niśācara
14. The King said, "All hospitality has indeed been rendered by you. O night-wanderer, for what purpose has this Brahmin's wife been brought by you?"
