मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
नथेत्युक्त्वा तु तद्रक्षस्तामादाय द्विजाङ्गनाम् ।
निन्ये भर्तृगृहं शुद्धां दौः शोल्यापगमात्तदा ॥३९॥

nathetyuktvā tu tadrakṣastāmādāya dvijāṅganām .
ninye bhartṛgṛhaṃ śuddhāṃ dauḥ śolyāpagamāttadā.

39.
Mārkaṇḍeya said: 'Having thus said, "O lord!", that demon then took the Brahmin woman and led her to her husband's house, pure because her ill-repute had been removed.'
