मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-126, verse-5

इयाज सुबहून्यज्ञान्यथावत्स्वाप्तदक्षिणान् ।
ऋत्विक्पुरोहितादेशादनिर्विण्णो महीपतिः ॥५॥
5. iyāja subahūnyajñānyathāvatsvāptadakṣiṇān .
ṛtvikpurohitādeśādanirviṇṇo mahīpatiḥ.

5. The king, unwearied, performed many excellent sacrifices (yajñas) as prescribed, ensuring that the sacrificial fees (dakṣiṇā) were duly received, all under the guidance of his officiating priests (ṛtviks) and chief priest (purohita).
