एते समर्था मुनयो भस्मीकर्तुं भुजङ्गमान् ।
किन्त्वेषां नाधिकारोऽत्र त्वमेवाधिकारवान् ॥२६॥

These sages are capable of turning the serpents to ashes. However, they do not possess the authority (adhikāra) in this matter; you alone are the one with authority (adhikāra).
