मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-126, verse-16

अमाद्यदिन्द्रः सोमेन दक्षिणाभिर्द्विजातयः ।
विप्राणां परिवेष्टारः शक्राद्यास्त्रिदशोत्तमाः ॥१६॥

16. Indra was intoxicated by the Soma drink, and the twice-born (dvijātayaḥ) were delighted by the sacrificial fees (dakṣiṇāḥ). The best among the gods (tridaśottamāḥ), led by Indra (Śakra) and others, became servers to the brāhmaṇas (viprāḥ).
