मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-126, verse-10

तेनातिशयिताः सर्वे केवलं न महीक्षितः ।
यज्विना देवराजोऽपि शतयज्ञाभिसन्धिना ॥१०॥
10. tenātiśayitāḥ sarve kevalaṃ na mahīkṣitaḥ .
yajvinā devarājo'pi śatayajñābhisandhinā.
10. tena atiśayitāḥ sarve kevalam na mahīkṣitaḥ
yajvinā devarājaḥ api śatayajñābhisandhinā
10. By that sacrificer (yajvin), Marutta, who himself was intent on a hundred Vedic rituals (yajña), not only all the kings were surpassed, but even the king of the gods (Devendra) was outdone.
