महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-67, verse-25

तदस्य देही सततं सुखोदितं स्वरूपमत्यर्थमुदारकर्मणः ।
परेण कृच्छ्रेण शरीरमत्यजद्गृहं महर्द्धीव ससङ्गमीश्वरः ॥२५॥
25. tadasya dehī satataṁ sukhoditaṁ; svarūpamatyarthamudārakarmaṇaḥ ,
pareṇa kṛcchreṇa śarīramatyaja;dgṛhaṁ maharddhīva sasaṅgamīśvaraḥ.
25. tat asya dehī satatam sukhoditam
svarūpam atyartham udārakarmaṇaḥ
pareṇa kṛcchreṇa śarīram atyajat gṛham
mahārddhiḥ iva sasanggam īśvaraḥ
25. asya atyartham udārakarmaṇaḥ dehī
īśvaraḥ tat satatam sukhoditam

25. That embodied being (dehī) of exceedingly noble actions (karma), with great difficulty abandoned his body (śarīram) and his perpetually radiant form (svarūpam). He, the lord (īśvaraḥ), departed like a very wealthy man who, despite his attachment, abandons his house.
