महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-67, verse-14

ततः क्षुरेणाधिरथेः किरीटी सुवर्णपुङ्खेन शितेन यत्तः ।
श्रिया ज्वलन्तं ध्वजमुन्ममाथ महारथस्याधिरथेर्महात्मा ॥१४॥
14. tataḥ kṣureṇādhiratheḥ kirīṭī; suvarṇapuṅkhena śitena yattaḥ ,
śriyā jvalantaṁ dhvajamunmamātha; mahārathasyādhirathermahātmā.

14. Then, the great-souled, crowned Arjuna (kirīṭī), exerting himself, felled that glorious and blazing banner of the great charioteer (mahāratha), Karna (adhirathi), with a sharp, gold-shafted razor-arrow.
