[The arrow possessed] a brilliance equal to the thunderbolt of the thousand-eyed Indra, and was exceedingly unbearable, like a flesh-eater. It resembled Śiva's Pinaka bow and Viṣṇu's discus (cakra), striking terror and causing the utter destruction of all living beings.
