महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-47, verse-19

अन्वस्य पितरं ह्यद्य चरतः सर्वतोदिशम् ।
शीघ्रतां नरसिंहस्य पाण्डवेयस्य पश्यत ॥१९॥
19. anvasya pitaraṁ hyadya carataḥ sarvatodiśam ,
śīghratāṁ narasiṁhasya pāṇḍaveyasya paśyata.
19. anu asya pitaram hi adya carataḥ sarvatodiśam
śīghratām narasiṃhasya pāṇḍaveyasya paśyata
19. hi adya asya pitaraṃ anu carataḥ narasiṃhasya
pāṇḍaveyasya śīghratām sarvatodiśam paśyata
19. Indeed, observe today the swiftness of this lion among men (narasiṃha), the son of Pandu (pāṇḍaveya), as he moves in all directions, following his father.
