महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-153, verse-20

अश्मवर्षं स तद्घोरं शरवर्षेण वीर्यवान् ।
दिशो विध्वंसयामास तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ॥२०॥
20. aśmavarṣaṁ sa tadghoraṁ śaravarṣeṇa vīryavān ,
diśo vidhvaṁsayāmāsa tadadbhutamivābhavat.
20. aśmavarṣam saḥ tat ghoram śaravarṣeṇa vīryavān
diśaḥ vidhvaṁsayāmāsa tat adbhutam iva abhavat
20. vīryavān saḥ śaravarṣeṇa tat ghoram aśmavarṣam
diśaḥ vidhvaṁsayāmāsa tat adbhutam iva abhavat
20. That valorous (Ghatotkacha), with a shower of arrows, utterly annihilated that terrible shower of stones in all directions. That incident was, as it were, astonishing to behold.
