महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-153, verse-9

तान्वध्यमानान्दृष्ट्वा तु भीमो भीमपराक्रमः ।
अभ्ययात्त्वरितः कर्णं विशिखान्विकिरन्रणे ॥९॥
9. tānvadhyamānāndṛṣṭvā tu bhīmo bhīmaparākramaḥ ,
abhyayāttvaritaḥ karṇaṁ viśikhānvikiranraṇe.

abhyayāt tvaritaḥ karṇaṃ viśikhān vikiran raṇe

9. Seeing those being slaughtered, Bhima, who possessed terrible prowess, swiftly rushed towards Karna, showering arrows in the battle.
