दृष्ट्वा भीष्मेण संसक्तान्भ्रातॄनन्यांश्च पार्थिवान् ।
तमभ्यधावद्गाङ्गेयमुद्यतास्त्रो धनंजयः ॥१॥

Sañjaya said: Seeing his brothers and other kings assailed by Bhīṣma, Dhanaṃjaya (Arjuna), with his weapon raised, rushed towards the son of Gaṅgā (Bhīṣma).
