महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-89, verse-9

तस्मिन्गां मधुपर्कं च उपहृत्य जनार्दने ।
निवेदयामास तदा गृहान्राज्यं च कौरवः ॥९॥
9. tasmingāṁ madhuparkaṁ ca upahṛtya janārdane ,
nivedayāmāsa tadā gṛhānrājyaṁ ca kauravaḥ.
9. tasmin gām madhuparkam ca upahṛtya janārdane
nivedayāmāsa tadā gṛhān rājyam ca kauravaḥ
9. When Janārdana (Krishna) was present, the Kaurava (Duryodhana) then offered Him a cow and madhuparka (a special respectful offering), and also presented his houses and kingdom.
