महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-89, verse-25

संप्रीतिभोज्यान्यन्नानि आपद्भोज्यानि वा पुनः ।
न च संप्रीयसे राजन्न चाप्यापद्गता वयम् ॥२५॥
25. saṁprītibhojyānyannāni āpadbhojyāni vā punaḥ ,
na ca saṁprīyase rājanna cāpyāpadgatā vayam.
25. samprīti bhojyāni annāni āpat bhojyāni vā punaḥ
na ca samprīyase rājan na ca api āpat gatā vayam
25. These foods are typically eaten with affection, or alternatively, in times of distress. But O King, you are neither pleased, nor are we ourselves in a state of distress.
