Duryodhana, endowed with proactive vigor and flourishing in prosperity, considers that meritorious conduct [of the Pāṇḍavas] as his own. And what he, a foolish boy (bāla), believes to be their rightful share, he thinks it can be seized from the living Pāṇḍavas.
