महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-22, verse-12

दिशं ह्युदीचीमपि चोत्तरान्कुरून्गाण्डीवधन्वैकरथो जिगाय ।
धनं चैषामाहरत्सव्यसाची सेनानुगान्बलिदांश्चैव चक्रे ॥१२॥
12. diśaṁ hyudīcīmapi cottarānkurū;ngāṇḍīvadhanvaikaratho jigāya ,
dhanaṁ caiṣāmāharatsavyasācī; senānugānbalidāṁścaiva cakre.
12. diśam hi udīcīm api ca uttarān
kurūn gāṇḍīvadhanvā ekarathaḥ jigāya
dhanam ca eṣām āharat savyasācī
senānugān balidān ca eva cakre
12. Indeed, Arjuna (Gaṇḍīvadhanvā), with his single chariot, conquered the northern direction and also the Northern Kurus. The ambidextrous Arjuna (Savyasācī) collected their wealth and moreover made them followers of his army and tribute-payers.
