महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-178, verse-9

ततस्तं नातिमनसं समुदीक्ष्याहमब्रुवम् ।
नाहमेनां पुनर्दद्यां भ्रात्रे ब्रह्मन्कथंचन ॥९॥
9. tatastaṁ nātimanasaṁ samudīkṣyāhamabruvam ,
nāhamenāṁ punardadyāṁ bhrātre brahmankathaṁcana.
9. tataḥ tam na atimanasam samudīkṣya aham abruvam na
aham enām punaḥ dadyām bhrātre brahman kathaṃcana
9. tataḥ aham tam na atimanasam samudīkṣya abruvam
brahman aham enām punaḥ bhrātre kathaṃcana na dadyām
9. Then, having observed him (Bhīṣma) to be displeased, I (Ambā) said, 'O Brahmin (brahman), I would never again give myself to my brother (Vicitravīrya).'
