गृहाणेमां महाबाहो रक्षस्व कुलमात्मनः ।
त्वया विभ्रंशिता हीयं भर्तारं नाभिगच्छति ॥१८॥

18. na hi te vidyate śāntiranyathā kurunandana ,

18.
Indeed, O delight of the Kurus, you will find no peace (śānti) otherwise. O mighty-armed one, take her and protect your own lineage (kula). For she, having been abandoned by you, is unable to find a husband.
