महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-60, verse-9

नृशंसं बत राजेन्द्र यन्मामेवंगतामिह ।
विलपन्तीं समालिङ्ग्य नाश्वासयसि पार्थिव ॥९॥
9. nṛśaṁsaṁ bata rājendra yanmāmevaṁgatāmiha ,
vilapantīṁ samāliṅgya nāśvāsayasi pārthiva.
9. nṛśaṃsam bata rājendra yat mām evaṃgatām iha
vilapantīm samāliṅgya na āśvāsayasi pārthiva
9. Alas, O best of kings (rājendra), how cruel it is that you do not console me, who am lamenting here and in such a state, even after embracing me, O king (pārthiva)!
