महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-60, verse-16

अपापचेतसं पापो य एवं कृतवान्नलम् ।
तस्माद्दुःखतरं प्राप्य जीवत्वसुखजीविकाम् ॥१६॥
16. apāpacetasaṁ pāpo ya evaṁ kṛtavānnalam ,
tasmādduḥkhataraṁ prāpya jīvatvasukhajīvikām.
16. apāpacetasam pāpaḥ yaḥ evam kṛtavān nalam
tasmāt duḥkhataram prāpya jīvatu asukhajīvikām
16. May that wicked person who thus harmed the innocent-minded Nala, experiencing greater suffering than Nala, live a joyless life.
