महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-46, verse-15

शेषं कुर्याद्गिरेर्वज्रं निपतन्मूर्ध्नि संजय ।
न तु कुर्युः शराः शेषमस्तास्तात किरीटिना ॥१५॥
15. śeṣaṁ kuryādgirervajraṁ nipatanmūrdhni saṁjaya ,
na tu kuryuḥ śarāḥ śeṣamastāstāta kirīṭinā.
15. śeṣam kuryāt gireḥ vajram nipatat mūrdhni saṃjaya
na tu kuryuḥ śarāḥ śeṣam astāḥ tāta kirīṭinā
15. O Saṃjaya, a thunderbolt falling upon a mountain's summit might leave a remainder. But, O dear one, arrows shot by Kirīṭin (Arjuna) would certainly not leave anything remaining.
