महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-46, verse-39

इदं च सुमहच्चित्रमर्जुनस्येह संजय ।
महादेवेन बाहुभ्यां यत्समेत इति श्रुतिः ॥३९॥
39. idaṁ ca sumahaccitramarjunasyeha saṁjaya ,
mahādevena bāhubhyāṁ yatsameta iti śrutiḥ.
39. idam ca sumahat citram arjunasya iha sañjaya
mahādevena bāhubhyām yat sametaḥ iti śrutiḥ
39. And this, O Sañjaya, is indeed a very great and astonishing thing concerning Arjuna (Arjuna) here: the tradition (śruti) says that he fought with Mahādeva, arm to arm.
