महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-268, verse-39

सौमित्रिरपि नाराचैर्दृढधन्वा जितक्लमः ।
आदिश्यादिश्य दुर्गस्थान्पातयामास राक्षसान् ॥३९॥
39. saumitrirapi nārācairdṛḍhadhanvā jitaklamaḥ ,
ādiśyādiśya durgasthānpātayāmāsa rākṣasān.
39. saumitriḥ api nārācaiḥ dṛḍha-dhanvā jita-klamaḥ
ādiśya-ādiśya durga-sthān pātayāmāsa rākṣasān
39. Lakṣmaṇa (Saumitri), too, whose bow was strong and who had overcome fatigue, continuously struck down the demons stationed in the fort with his iron arrows.
