महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-268, verse-24

विभीषणर्क्षाधिपती पुरस्कृत्याथ लक्ष्मणः ।
दक्षिणं नगरद्वारमवामृद्नाद्दुरासदम् ॥२४॥
24. vibhīṣaṇarkṣādhipatī puraskṛtyātha lakṣmaṇaḥ ,
dakṣiṇaṁ nagaradvāramavāmṛdnāddurāsadam.
24. vibhīṣaṇarkṣādhipatī puraskṛtya atha lakṣmaṇaḥ
dakṣiṇam nagaradvāram avamṛdnāt durāsadam
24. Then, Lakṣmaṇa, placing Vibhīṣaṇa and the lord of the bears (Jāmbavān) at the forefront, vigorously assailed the southern city gate, which was difficult to overcome.
