महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-241, verse-20

एवमुक्तस्ततः कर्णो राजानमिदमब्रवीत् ।
तवाद्य पृथिवीपाला वश्याः सर्वे नृपोत्तम ॥२०॥
20. evamuktastataḥ karṇo rājānamidamabravīt ,
tavādya pṛthivīpālā vaśyāḥ sarve nṛpottama.
20. evam uktaḥ tataḥ karṇaḥ rājānam idam abravīt
tava adya pṛthivīpālāḥ vaśyāḥ sarve nṛpa-uttama
20. When addressed thus, Karṇa then said this to the king, "O best of kings, today all rulers (pṛthivīpālāḥ) are subjugated to you."
