महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-241, verse-14

किमस्माकं भवेच्छ्रेयः किं कार्यमवशिष्यते ।
कथं नु सुकृतं च स्यान्मन्त्रयामास भारत ॥१४॥
14. kimasmākaṁ bhavecchreyaḥ kiṁ kāryamavaśiṣyate ,
kathaṁ nu sukṛtaṁ ca syānmantrayāmāsa bhārata.
14. kim asmākam bhavet śreyaḥ kim kāryam avaśiṣyate
katham nu sukṛtam ca syāt mantrayāmāsa bhārata
14. "What would be beneficial for us? What task remains to be done? And how can a virtuous action be accomplished?" Thus, O Bhārata, he deliberated.
