महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-241, verse-12

तांस्तु संप्रस्थितान्दृष्ट्वा भीष्मः कुरुपितामहः ।
लज्जया व्रीडितो राजञ्जगाम स्वं निवेशनम् ॥१२॥
12. tāṁstu saṁprasthitāndṛṣṭvā bhīṣmaḥ kurupitāmahaḥ ,
lajjayā vrīḍito rājañjagāma svaṁ niveśanam.
12. tān tu samprasthitān dṛṣṭvā bhīṣmaḥ kurupitāmahaḥ
lajjayā vrīḍitaḥ rājan jagāma svam niveśanam
12. But, O King, upon seeing them depart, Bhishma, the grandfather of the Kurus, felt ashamed and embarrassed, and went to his own dwelling.
