ततोऽहं भरतश्रेष्ठ समाश्वास्य पुरे जनम् ।
राजानमाहुकं चैव तथैवानकदुन्दुभिम् ।
सर्ववृष्णिप्रवीरांश्च हर्षयन्नब्रुवं तदा ॥७॥

7. tato'haṁ bharataśreṣṭha samāśvāsya pure janam ,
rājānamāhukaṁ caiva tathaivānakadundubhim ,
sarvavṛṣṇipravīrāṁśca harṣayannabruvaṁ tadā.

Then, O best among the Bhāratas, I first reassured the people in the city, as well as King Āhuka and Anakadundubhi, and all the foremost Vṛṣṇi warriors. Gladdening them, I then spoke.
