महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-21, verse-37

ततो नाज्ञायत तदा दिवारात्रं तथा दिशः ।
ततोऽहं मोहमापन्नः प्रज्ञास्त्रं समयोजयम् ।
ततस्तदस्त्रमस्त्रेण विधूतं शरतूलवत् ॥३७॥
37. tato nājñāyata tadā divārātraṁ tathā diśaḥ ,
tato'haṁ mohamāpannaḥ prajñāstraṁ samayojayam ,
tatastadastramastreṇa vidhūtaṁ śaratūlavat.
37. tataḥ na ajñāyata tadā divārātram
tathā diśaḥ | tataḥ aham moham āpannaḥ
prajñāstram samayojayam | tataḥ tat
astram astreṇa vidhūtam śaratūlavat
37. At that point, neither day nor night, nor the directions, could be distinguished. Then I, overcome with confusion, unleashed the weapon of wisdom (prajñāstra). But then that weapon was scattered by another weapon, just like cotton wool hit by an arrow.
