महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-181, verse-23

अयमादिशरीरेण देवसृष्टेन मानवः ।
शुभानामशुभानां च कुरुते संचयं महत् ॥२३॥
23. ayamādiśarīreṇa devasṛṣṭena mānavaḥ ,
śubhānāmaśubhānāṁ ca kurute saṁcayaṁ mahat.

śubhānām aśubhānām ca kurute sañcayaṃ mahat
23. This human being (mānava), endowed with the primal body created by the gods, accumulates a great store of both auspicious and inauspicious (karma).
