महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-90, verse-25

नाषडङ्गविदत्रासीत्सदस्यस्तस्य धीमतः ।
नाव्रतो नानुपाध्यायो न च वादाक्षमो द्विजः ॥२५॥
25. nāṣaḍaṅgavidatrāsītsadasyastasya dhīmataḥ ,
nāvrato nānupādhyāyo na ca vādākṣamo dvijaḥ.
25. na aṣaḍaṅgavit atra āsīt sadasyaḥ tasya dhīmataḥ
na avrataḥ na anupādhyāyaḥ na ca vādākṣamaḥ dvijaḥ
25. atra tasya dhīmataḥ sadasyaḥ aṣaḍaṅgavit na āsīt

25. Among the assembly members of that wise man, there was no one who was not conversant with the six auxiliaries of the Vedas; nor was there any brahmin (dvija) who lacked vows, was without a preceptor, or was unskilled in debate.
