महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-90, verse-20

कृत्वा प्रवर्ग्यं धर्मज्ञा यथावद्द्विजसत्तमाः ।
चक्रुस्ते विधिवद्राजंस्तथैवाभिषवं द्विजाः ॥२०॥
20. kṛtvā pravargyaṁ dharmajñā yathāvaddvijasattamāḥ ,
cakruste vidhivadrājaṁstathaivābhiṣavaṁ dvijāḥ.
20. kṛtvā pravargyam dharmajñāḥ yathāvat dvijasattamāḥ
cakruḥ te vidhivat rājan tathā eva abhiṣavam dvijāḥ
20. rājan te dharmajñāḥ yathāvat dvijasattamāḥ dvijāḥ
pravargyam kṛtvā vidhivat tathā eva abhiṣavam cakruḥ
20. O king, those excellent twice-born (dvija) priests, who were knowers of the proper constitution (dharma) for rituals, having duly performed the Pravargya ritual, then similarly carried out the pressing of the Soma (abhiṣava) in accordance with the prescribed rules.
