महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-9, verse-8

इन्द्र उवाच ।
एहि गच्छ प्रहितो जातवेदो बृहस्पतिं परिदातुं मरुत्ते ।
अयं वै त्वा याजयिता बृहस्पतिस्तथामरं चैव करिष्यतीति ॥८॥
8. indra uvāca ,
ehi gaccha prahito jātavedo; bṛhaspatiṁ paridātuṁ marutte ,
ayaṁ vai tvā yājayitā bṛhaspati;stathāmaraṁ caiva kariṣyatīti.
8. indraḥ uvāca ehi gaccha prahitaḥ
jātavedaḥ bṛhaspatiṃ paridātuṃ marutte
ayam vai tvā yājayitā bṛhaspatiḥ
tathā amaraṃ ca eva kariṣyati iti
8. Indra spoke: 'Come, go forth, O Jātavedas (Agni), sent to entrust Bṛhaspati to Marutta. Indeed, this Bṛhaspati will cause him (Marutta) to perform a Vedic ritual (yajña) and will also render him immortal.'
