बृहस्पतिरुवाच ।
सुखं शयेऽहं शयने महेन्द्र तथा मनोज्ञाः परिचारका मे ।
तथा देवानां सुखकामोऽस्मि शक्र देवाश्च मां सुभृशं पालयन्ति ॥२॥

2. bṛhaspatiruvāca ,

tathā devānāṁ sukhakāmo'smi śakra; devāśca māṁ subhṛśaṁ pālayanti.

Bṛhaspati said, 'O great Indra, I sleep peacefully in bed. And my attendants are likewise pleasing. O Śakra, I am also desirous of the welfare of the gods, and the gods protect me very greatly.'
