इन्द्र उवाच ।
पुनर्भवान्पार्थिवं तं समेत्य वाक्यं मदीयं प्रापय स्वार्थयुक्तम् ।
पुनर्यद्युक्तो न करिष्यते वचस्ततो वज्रं संप्रहर्तास्मि तस्मै ॥२४॥

punarbhavānpārthivaṁ taṁ sametya; vākyaṁ madīyaṁ prāpaya svārthayuktam ,
punaryadyukto na kariṣyate vaca;stato vajraṁ saṁprahartāsmi tasmai.

Indra said: "You (honored one) must go again, approach that earthly king, and convey my message, which is for your own benefit. If, again, he does not follow what is said, then I will strike him with the thunderbolt."
