महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-9, verse-12

अग्निरुवाच ।
आसनं सलिलं पाद्यं प्रतिनन्दामि तेऽनघ ।
इन्द्रेण तु समादिष्टं विद्धि मां दूतमागतम् ॥१२॥
12. agniruvāca ,
āsanaṁ salilaṁ pādyaṁ pratinandāmi te'nagha ,
indreṇa tu samādiṣṭaṁ viddhi māṁ dūtamāgatam.
12. agniḥ uvāca āsanam salilam pādyam pratinandāmi te
anagha indreṇa tu samādiṣṭam viddhi mām dūtam āgatam
12. Agni said: 'O sinless one, I gratefully accept your seat, water, and water for the feet. But know that I have come as a messenger, specifically instructed by Indra.'
